Fair oak school started in the year 2000 as an initiative of RGC-Pipeline to provide to the poor children from Mukuru Kwa Njenga slums, who would not otherwise afford to go to school. The school is a community focused development institution, It as registered by the government in the year 2012 The school is Christian based which strives to providea nurturing educational climate, a safe welcoming environment based on mutual respect, that encourage lifelong learning. Fair oak has over 300 children who come from the community. It offers learning from baby class (3 years) to class eight which has children of 14-15years. Fair oak school has staff members i.e 20 teaching staff 5 support staff 5 office staff
To provide pupils an education that allows them to enhance their personal development, acquire skills and knowledge related to the expression and oral comprehension, reading, writing and calculation as well as develop social skills, work, and study habits, artistic, sence, creativity and affection as well preparing pupils for study techniquies for secondary education.

Fair Oak School has fully implemented the new carriculum as directed by the Cabinet Secretary. All our teachers have been trained by the Kenya Institute of Carriculum Development(K.I.C.D) who are thr main implementers.

The school provides leaning for vulnerable children who come from poor back ground. The school nurtures good behavior based on Christian values. The school empowers children to help them realize their dreams for life. To school meets educational needs for the poor in the community. The school is accessible by most people in the community. It develops responsible attitude of respect for others, encourage co existence and school family and avoid social violence. It helps the learners to know and use appropriate language from the condition of common language.
